Information for Contributors

The Journal will take articles on clinical and theoretical topics. Two typed copies of articles are required as well as a copy on computer disc, or via attachments to e-mail to IFPP Administrator. Articles should be accompanied by a brief autobiographical note and a preliminary abstract.

Articles should not exceed 4,000 words, including references, and must give a brief summary and a word count on the title page. Short papers are encouraged, while longer pieces will not be considered, except by prior arrangement.

Essential notes should be collected on a single page at the end of the text.  References in the text should be written thus:  Jones (1957: 48-49), Jones (1957, 1959). The letters a, b, c and so on should be used in addition to the year to distinguish between different works by the same author in any one year, for example Jones (1957 a, 1957b).  Extended quotations should be followed by page number references. All references should be listed alphabetically at the end of the article after any notes, using the following style:
