Activities of the IFPP

Clinical meetings, seminars and reading groups are held by members. Speakers from home and abroad are also invited, with some meetings of more general interest being open to the general public. Workshops are organized and led either by senior IFPP members or by professionals from abroad with particular expertise. These workshops vary from a single weekend to a course of ten weekends spread over a year. As with most of the other clinical and study groups, they are open to other professionals.

In addition to offering psychotherapy to members of the general public, full members of the IFPP offer psychoanalytic psychotherapy to those training in psychotherapy or counselling.

Supervision is offered to people in training or on a post qualification basis.

Supervision is also available to those working in related fields and/or different types of psychotherapy or counselling.
